Outreach

As professors, scientists and students at the University of Oklahoma, we believe it is our duty to engage the community in discussions concerning our research, science and education.

Dr. Gaffin routinely is asked to give talks on science and biology. For example Dr. Gaffin and members of our lab have given lectures and guided hikes on scorpions, insect navigation, nature conservation and other aspects of biology at Martin Park Nature Center in Oklahoma City, Terra Verde Discovery School and McKinley Elementary School in Norman, several public schools in OKC, the Pontotoc Ridge Nature Preserve near Ada, OK, and many events on the OU campus.

If you would like to have us come and visit your classroom or group please send us an email and we will try and fit it into our schedule.
